Founded in October 1989, Sinopec (Hong Kong) Limited (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is 100% owned by China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation.  The core business of the Company is trading petroleum, diesel oil, aviation fuel, fuel oil, liquefied petroleum gas in Hong Kong and other areas around Hong Kong.  Having developed its business for nearly 20 years, the Company now owns 42 filling stations, 2 oil terminals with storage capacity of 374,500 square meter and 16 vessels with carrying capacity of 68,600 tonnes, and its retail network covers major parts in Hong Kong.  The Company recorded its sale volume more than 8 million tons in 2008 which creates a new history record.In future, under the leadership of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, the Company shall continue to stand firm in Hong Kong and be close to the international market.  Core ideology of “Increase in Quantity, Reduction in Costs, Enhancement in Efficiency and Protection of Safety” shall be persisted, markets be enduringly developed, management foundation be strengthened, operational structure be excelled, operational facilities be perfected, and a good and competitive brand to be built up.
